(Do you ever wonder?)
(I) D I F F E R E N C E S
Knowing too much,Fearing too much.
Held back by it all,
Too afraid to go against the grain.
Afraid to walk the path -
The path trodden by those before us.
Their blood, tears, sweat staining us through story recitals.
Knowledge, experience and everything precious.
All points towards an easier life.
Through years of education,
Towards years of administration.
Dreams and aspirations fading with our hairlines.
We grind ourselves to the bone in pursuit of greater economies.
Hiding our discontentment behind our wallets.
Then comes a day when we shall pass too,
Wealth and power being of little use to buy time,
Realising what empty beings we all became.

Gone with those before us as they pass:
Skills and practicality.
We become partial machines,
Integrated among them,
We lose our minds to them.
Factories replace workshops.
Machinery replaces hands.
Gone with those before us as they pass:
Pride in our humanity.
Consumed by excess consumerism,
We take the world apart,
Building and making things we do not need;
Selling to people* who do not need.
*People who work to purchase things they do not need.
More emotions towards animal cruelty,
Than the very ugly humanity -
One which lacks compassion towards fellow human beings.
One which starts pointless wars.
One which manifests all seven sins.
One which is destroying the world.
We save the world differently now.
Do you ever wonder?
What became of us?(Humans)

I'll take away everything,
I'll become nothing once again.
Walk my own path,
Leave my own imprint.
First,
We leave safe shores.
It's alright to be afraid.
It's alright.
Keeps us on the edge.
Keeps us prepared.
Forget past promises you know you can't keep.
Stop trying to cling on to them.
They will destroy your mind.
Make new ones and hold true to them.
We'll survive.
We'll survive while the world burns.
We'll survive.
We'll survive while the world sinks.
We'll survive.
I'll make it.
This way or another.
Not running to impress.
But running to live.
See you all in the future!

Took me awhile to tidy up the post,
The word count exceeded a thousand.
So I removed more than half of it.
They were all footnotes describing my writings –
Differences, Innocence, Revelations.
However after releasing them last night,
I was horrified by the amount of detailing I gave.
I deleted them all although it pains me to do so.
Instead however I wrote a Prelude.
I’m happy with how this post came out although some people might have already seen the full post before I edited it.
There’s just too much emotions contained within.
Mainly excitement at understanding so much more.
